Planned Services
[edit]
Progress
[edit]
Outcomes:
- All digital channels can be tuned and copied to disk
- Web interface to control when to record something
- Web interface for downloading recorded shows
[edit]
Next Actions:
- Find out some way of getting mplayer to use a global channels.conf
- Getting Gentoo to boot without a Live CD
- Making a backup of the settings in case something gets horribly messed up
[edit]
Current Hurdles:
- The card works, but the configurations is touchy.
- Ubuntu did nasty things when it was upgraded, preventing gentoo from booting (except from a Live CD).
