The performance on my connection has gradually been getting worse over about
2 weeks. Pppstats shows about 1.7/sec throughput max .. and my applications
are only getting about half of that.

tcpdump shows....

18:58:51.210114 truncated-ip - 860 bytes missing!12.34.56.78:123 >
78.65.43.21:321: P 14600:16060(1460) ack 1 win 32653 (DF)

I suspect hanging up and calling back may fix the problem.. but I'm
wondering what it is and why .. it has happened before on occasions, but not
this bad!!

Any ideas on the cause? (Search of altavista produced zilch)
