LWP is "Library for WWW access in Perl" - one of the new OO extentions. 
It works under Linux and if your perl release you get it from CPAN.

No, you don't. :) Since Hypermail makes stored archived emails as .html 
files Swish will index them and WWWais will return search results pointing 
to specific HTML files. All three have fairly extensive config files that 
should take away the need to modify code.

BTW, Swish-e is just a new name for swish (swish-entended).
You could use one of the other Web frontends to Swish as well. 

If you decide to modify WWWais to "cluster" or "thread" search results 
give me a holler. I'd join you.
