The problem here is that typically by the time someone realises that this 
is a pearl of wisdom the email has already been sent. Adding a CC at a later
stage and the pearl archive will end up with emails which have no 
continuity of flow.

How does that last one work?

SLUG has hardware now thanks to the donations of many people. We are
still getting things setup on it properly and I am sorting out some
political things with our network host. 

Hopefully things should be ready to go sometime in June.
