RE: [SLUG] Procmail woes

A typical entry in mailq 's output:-

UAA23228    10042 Sat Apr 29 20:39 MAILER-DAEMON
                 (host map: lookup (newtreno.spectrum.com.au): deferred)
                                   <owner-slug@nospam.newtreno.spectrum.com.au>

The corresponding /var/log/maillog entry:-

Apr 29 20:39:03 localhost sendmail[23228]: UAA23227: UAA23228: DSN:
/home/nicko/.forward: line 1: "|IFS=' ' && exec /usr/bin/procmail -f- ||
exit 75 #nicko"... Address <nicko@nospam.localhost> is unsafe for mailing to
programs
Apr 29 20:39:03 localhost sendmail[23228]: UAA23228:
to=<owner-slug@nospam.newtreno.spectrum.com.au>, delay=00:00:00, mailer=esmtp,
stat=queued

Thanks. sendmail -q took a while to kick in, but the queued messages
have now been sent to me. Each has a long transcript with the problem
identified, i.e

The original message was received at Mon, 1 May 2000 08:53:37 +1000
from IDENT:nicko@nospam.localhost [127.0.0.1]

   ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
|IFS=' '&& exec /usr/bin/procmail -f- || exit 75 #nicko
    (expanded from: <nicko@nospam.localhost>)

Anyway, it's all working beautifully now, and I've recovered the lost
mail.

Nick
