I don't think Anand was out of line for the (very soft) comments he made.

He was replying to a question about a piece of Windows software, running on
Windows, accessing the Internet through a Windows machine - *compared* to
Linux. I'm sure others on the list simply ignored the fairly offtopic post.

Most of us here would agree that the setup was closer to "plain wrong" than
just "backwards" - I masq through my trusty Linux box, often using Windows
as my desktop for work. I wouldn't dream of trusting anything else with my
connection now!


If anything, Anand was recommending a solution: use Linux. It makes more
sense, especially in this instance.
