[SLUG] licq win98SE time out ??

hi i just sent this to the licq list no responce as yet


i have a really backwards setup.
win98 SE with optushome on a lan.

i have licq 0.81 the problem is that i cannot connect to icq servers here is
part of the network window

17:14:58: [UDP] Resolving icq.mirrabilis.com...
17:14:59: [UDP] ICQ server found at 209.241.185.109:4000.
17:14:59: [UDP] Creating local server.
17:14:59: [UDP] Opening socket to server.

etc... 2,3 up to 6

i have tried all the icq servers what could this mean??

mail web etc all work is this a general problem using icq through win98 SE dhcp 
the weired thing is though icq in the other os works fine.

any ideas.
