I am starting to use a laser pointer to try and create a 2d / partial 3d scan
of wildlife that visits the feeeding pan. Ideally to assist in the automatic
characteristic definitions of what animal may actually be there.

I know that the IR eye reflectivity directly corresponds (like a signature) and
noctural animals have a better IR signature (larger eye area).

So I would be interested too.
