That's strange, because OpenBSD detects it as a we, not wd. Actually, 
getting the card detected is no problem, the message 'NIC memory corrupt' is 
of more concern. I am presuming NIC is a nicad battery? See as though you 
are using this card, do you think it would be possible to replace this?
