as far as usernames goes
it's only for 2 years or whatever anyway not exactly lifetime
so make the usernames
00lastnamefirstname
or whatever combo u like
just make sure you put the year of enrolnment in there
make the home directories
/home/00/00lastnamefirstname
etc
to remove a year
edit passwd file and remove users
rm -rf the home directories
rm -f /var/spool/00*
otherwise
to be not so cruel
if you don't want that you will have to write something (hint here! use
perl and mysql as database of students) and admin it that way
that also means you can use php and have a web based admin for the
frontend
