Re: [SLUG] Ethernet dropouts..



I do know that I have a couple of Realtek 8139 cards out of a batch of
about 6 and Linux flatly refuses to bring them on line, it complains that
the resource is busy.  It would appear, looking at the kudzu file, that
these mothers are not announcing their manufacturer properly and hence
Linux isn't too sure what they are.  Thats only a guess I might add.
