Hi there

Here is a something else to go wrong.

I was running one day a remote X session over (10baset) but I have a hub
with a run of 10base2 in it as well

well the 10base2 wasn't working so it was all fine

well anyway I got it sort of working but then it affected everything on
the hub as well (well I only noticed it because the X session kept on
"locking up"

in the end
 a faulty T piece

changed it and it works again fine
