RE: [SLUG] Ufs filesystem read-only in Linux
Silly people.
Some more suggestions:
1) Remove the hard disk from that sun and put it in another sun that has a
CDROM, boot from CDROM and fix up the faults on the disk.
2) Assuming you have two machines connected on ethernet, login as root on
one machine and try to rlogin to the problem machine. Possibly they have not
disabled that if it's an old filesystem.
3) If you have the disk physically inside the Linux box, and your Linux
understands UFS, then you can run fsck -F ufs (check the parameters!!) then
try to mount it as type ufs.
