RE: [SLUG] Virtual hosts on a dynamic IP
Hi Paul,
Sounds like a problem.
If you have a dynamic IP address, how are visitors going to be able to
resolve your domain to any particular IP? ie, if I type www.yoursite.com.au
in my browser how will my machine find yours anyway? The settings in your
httpd.conf are secondary to this problem.
There used to be free dynamic DNS services on the net - anyone know if these
still exist?
Get a fixed IP and this all works out of the box. Good luck!
Cheers,
Marty
