i think what you want is...

NameVirtualHost 127.0.0.1

<VirtualHost 127.0.0.1>
      ServerName nameone.com.au
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost 127.0.0.1>
      ServerName nametwo.com.au
</VirtualHost>

and in /etc/hosts

127.0.0.1 nameone.com.au
127.0.0.1 nametwo.com.au

unless you want this to be seen by the rest of the world it should work..
