LOL...I work for compaq...I know how annoying those damn modems are....
Diamond Supra Express modems (Rockwell HCF) were used in the majority of
models...now that Rockwell has been bought by Conexant or what ever....were
using them.....hmmmmm

I gave one 15 mins of my time, with no luck.
I have found the HCF to be debatebly one of the worst modems i have
ever used. Is it really worth your effort?
