I'd actually got for conduit rather than actual cabling.  That way you
can upgrade if some new wizz-bang gizmo comes out needing it.  (ie,
video on demand cable TV, 100 megabit ethernet, optical fibre to the
curb, even low-voltage power driven by solar and battery bank)

It doesn't have to be expensive "networking" conduit.  Just use cheap
plastic plumbing pipes.  Course you'll still need to work out where the
outlets are going to be.

Then whenever you want to use it, stick a stiff wire down the pipe until
it reaches where it needs to go and pull through the required cabling.

You're lucky to have the advantage of access prior to the walls going
in.  Those of us living in rented Federation homes have ugly cables
strung all around the walls.
