Umm... Not quite - they used to sell an OS called WinFrame - that
ostensibly became NT Terminal Server (a 1/2 good O/S, compared to their
normal offerings, but too limited in what it can run - i.e. not everything
that runs under NT will run under NT/TS).
MetaFrame is the Citrix "patch" (for want of a better term) that sits on
top of NT/TS and makes it work, sort of...
I can run Word on my Linux box via the MetaFrame client by logging into my
office server farm - and it's pretty darn cool - the last reason I need
EvilWare (PCAnywhere - I have to use this for server maintenance all over
SE Asia) is now GONE !!!
