I looked at the mails today and could not believe it. Which knucklehead
would compare RedHat with Microsoft? It begs belief.

RedHat have made significant contribution to the overall Linux OS and
packaging effort and it is reflected in their popularity. They may not be
the best distribution around but they have brought commercial polish and
clout to the industry based around Linux and if Linux has any chance of
succeeding, this is sorely needed.

(Still simmering down...)
