For what it's worth, all of the SuperStack manuals are available in
PDF form from the 3com website.

Yeah, but the ability to reconfigure segmentation on these Hubs/VLANing
on the Switches via a web browser is quite cute :) However, I would
recommend not setting a default gateway on the Hub/Switch - that way it
can only be accessed via the local network (and if you play with the
subnet mask you can restrict it even further)
obHack: whilst relocating our office in Korea recently I was given an
old SuperStack 24 port switch to use. However, when I plugged everything
into it, not all hosts were able to see each other - a sure sign it was
segmented/vlaned. No other 24 port hubs/switches were available, and I
couldn't find a cable which would allow any machines to talk to the hub
(it's 9 pin, and I didn't have any 9 pin cables).
Eventually I realised I had my Palm V, with PalmTelnet on it, sitting in
my laptop bag. Hooked the Palm up to the switch via the hotsync cable,
fired up PalmTelnet, logged in and reset the switch to factory default.
Everything worked fine after that :)
Scott.
