How is SuSE's funding of these projects any better than (say) Redhat's
paying Alan Cox or funding GNOME development or any of the other projects
they support?
And SuSE is just as into big money alliances and deals with other large
corporations as Redhat or Caldera are. The only major distribution that
really has a claim to be ethically/economically/politically distinct is
Debian (for reasons that should be obvious...)
