[SLUG] Name Server not working?

Just a general questions, but did anyone have their nameserver stop
working after the roll over? 

I do not know whether is was co-incidental, but my caching dns just
stop working even for itself. I seem to have solved the problem by
asking dig to reload the root servers from my ISPs dns (I hope his is
up to date).
