it's not such a great deal though, unless maybe you really really
want oracle. I don't know how much oracle costs but a base
ultra5 system is easily under $5000 (including all the bits and
pieces and including tax).
Of more interest I thought was the deal of 17% off plus a free
PC PCI card (a pci card that has an intel cpu and all the PC
bits to enable you to run some M$ OS (or maybe linux!) in an
xterm window at the same time as running solaris).
