How did the teachers start their jobs? They signed on at $X for x hours a
week/month/year. The current dispute refers to proposed changes, that is,
the govt wants to pay teachers less and make them work longer hours. I
think that is wrong and that the teachers have every right to not accept
those changes. However, teachers can hardly complain 6 months in the year
that they aren't getting paid enough after they knowingly accepted the
position in the first place. If they thought the wages were too low, why
take the job?
