Ok, let's tie that analogy in with what I've been saying.

* It will take approx 18 months of 8hrs/day work by my development team to
make it to initial release of manual driving during which new features
required to sustain my automatic driving skills will be a very low second
priority.
* At this point v1.0 of manual driving has numerous bug fixes for things
that might only be apparent due to "under the hood" differences between
prior and current os/language.
* Some of my customers decided to shop somewhere else because my
transmission had to be serviced shortly after I got rid of my auto and
started driving manual.
* Cost of teach my staff to drive manual. $3,000.
* Lost custom due to car going in for repairs and service as a result of me
going manual. $90,000.
* Projected loss due to development team making my car a manual instead of
installing the turbo. $100,000
* Expense of development team making my car a manual. $460,000
* The click in someone's head as they actually get what i'm saying.
Priceless.
