[SLUG] Lilo and MBR

I seem to have screwed up my Master Boot Record in some mysterious way
that Lilo can't repair.  When my system boots it gets to a blank screen
with just a cursor on it and locks the system up (caps lock etc don't
work).

I had it all working perfectly on the same drive.  I've moved the drive
onto a different IDE interface so it's now the Master of IDE0 ie showing
up as /dev/hda.

Any ideas what might cause this sorta weirdness?  I suspect I need to boot
DOS and do fdisk /MBR to get it back to "normal" but not having a DOS disk
around kinda makes that hard.  Any other approaches?
