[SLUG] few small questions built up over time.. ;-)

hi
i just have a few questions to which i  have not been able to find A.

1) Does any one know how to use BitchX through a windows proxy??

2) If i compile a new kernel that is exactly the same as the one i am using but
i add just  one new driver and i set it to be built into the kernal can i
just copy the bzImage into place and leave the modules as they are??? w/o
having to do a make modules and make modules_install

3) has anyone had any luck in setting up lynx to go through a win proxy. i have
tried by putting http_proxy:http://192.168.1.151:8080     and friends into
position  but it just refuses to find the site err 500 
- line 1175 in lynx.cfg  -  yes the ip and port work in o/ browsers like
netscape etc.

thanks in adv these are just some of the things that i have not been able to
find proper answers to thanks.
