 I thought it was classed as a weapon because the US DoD noticed,
 during that documentary that came out a few years ago, that the
 Mac is the only computer in the world that can natively talk to
 alien networks and 'mainframes'.

 (Who needs connectivity to terran systems when you can do that.)
