No no .. not sure what all that glitters is .. but the Gap series
has variations on the theme for titles. The gap into conflict,
the gap into vision, the gap into madness, etc.
One of the darkest stories I've ever read. Thomas Covenant
was the first thing he wrote, and it was pretty hard going to
find any laudable characters in there .. but with the Gap
series he went all out to make sure none of the characters
were worthy.
I'd have expected it'd be a fairly popular read amongst this
kind of crowd.
