Re: [cs-pdcdca] Re: [ProgSoc] A questions

Ok all,
first of all, I didn't mean to cause anyone offence. I know the caste
system has deeply religious origins and thus perhaps it deserves an extra
degree of sanctity. I am speaking objectively when I (and probably
Alistair) speak on socio-political topics. When we are discussing Fascism,
we're certainly not knocking the Germans. On the same terms, when we are
discussing the caste system, we are certainly not attacking the Indian
people, but analysing a construct quite similar to that which features in
Plato's republic. I could have chosen one of many other systems, if they
too so effectively described the point at hand.

Furthermore, I am very grateful that this is a point of discussion for not
only those with a natural expertise nor a fanatical interest in tech, but
those with diversified interests combined with intelligent opinions. For
this reason, I fear Compsoc will never have a dominant discussion group to
rival this one. :)

Exams tomorrow! Can I call for the "3 minutes of hate" about now? :)
