Nothing of the UTS building that I saw. You'd know already that the
freeway chase was on a specially built freeway in California. Otherwise,
I recognised a few places, but there were less skyline shots than v1.0.
You've seen that Trinity uses nmap to identify a vulnerability in ssh and
exploits it using the ficticious 'sshnuke' application. Further, though,
the computer she breaks into has the IP 10.2.2.2 (from memory - it's
definitely a 10.2 address though). This would make sense, as the computer
wouldn't have a public IP address if it's that important. This would also
explain the necessity to break in.
I want a screen shot of the bike transporter. I saw my bike and my
housemate's too (yeah, well some people got excited over nmap). Pointless
trivia - the 996 was replaced with a 998 in 2002, and now the 999 is the
top of the range superbike. At the time of filming (2001) the 996 would
have been the most powerful. The 996R had a 998cc engine (and is
lighter). I wonder how many people got pulled over for speeding and
dangerous riding after having seen that chase scene...
