Codernauts of UTS unite! It's time for some coding action!
Hear this: A trip to Barcelona and prizes of $10,000 , $15,000 or $25,000
US (!!) is up for grabs, including swanky accomodation and conference
badges. Are we crazy?? Yeah, but ain't it cool!
The Microsoft Imagine Cup is calling students from across Australia to
either work individually or as teams of up to four to create software. It
can be anything, as long as it's either socially responsible or
commercially viable. And has some .NET in the equation. So you could mod
Alley Cat so that it purchases cokes from Ebay or something and your
chances would be pretty high.
Dum dum, doo doo, doobedoodoo... Dang, now I
have the Alley Cat theme in my head. Thanks, guys. :P
Now that you've planted a mortgage on your assumed winnings from the
Imagine Cup, you can pick up entry forms from the COMPSOC info desk
outside 10.3.380 from Monday 28th onwards. Work fast; entries close
Monday, 19th May!
Arriba, el carnero loco!!
Love, Ros
