[ProgSoc] a vexing question

Every morning I turn my workstation on, ssh back into various servers
about the place and reconnect to the screen sessions running on them.
So every day ssh gives me a new X cookie, XAUTHORITY points to the
location of the wrong one, and X apps I run on the remote machines
can't connect to the local display server.  How can I automate setting
XAUTHORITY and DISPLAY to whatever the new values are when I reattach
the screen session?
