As far as the Uni is concerned, you are connected to an aussie site, yes,
and the uni won't have to pay for international traffic -- it'll be charged
to (in this example) whoever pays for ftoomsh's traffic. Unless you
were talking about the potential abuse of everyone else's network as
people push exploratory work onto machines they don't own / get
charged for.
I think more people should subscribe to Optus@nospam.Home's 10-times-as-
much-as-the-average-user-is-eating cable offering, and keep kazaa &
audiogalaxysatellite running permanently.
