That's odd:
[plasma@nospam.C466x2 plasma]$ telnet ftoomsh.progsoc.org pop3

It looks like ftoomsh just really doesn't like my IP or something.

Actually, I'm using KMail under linux, and it's message was that the server 
terminated the connection immediately as well.
