As Gabby said, use ssh rather than telnet. PuTTY is the first
webpage returned when you search for it on google, it's free and it's
highly configurable. ssh is avaliable pretty much everywhere now,
so there's no reason not to use it!
An alternative to useing ftoomsh is to use sutekh
(sutekh.progsoc.org). Which tends to be more responsive than
ftoomsh.
Personally, I've never had ftoomsh incorrectly log me in, but I have
had another report a while ago. Can anyone who is having similar
problems email cso@nospam.progsoc.org, so I can get an idea if the scope
of the problem.
