All finished and tidied!  I got proper MiniDV stills off tape and Firewire
last week at work.  Got to borrow a nice 3CCD camera with a lens that
dwarfed the tape mechanism.  Funny, how digital cameras always double as
A->D (plus compression) converters.  Same how VCRs often make RF->video
converters (i.e., TV tuners).
