[ProgSoc] SLUG: Jamie Honan and Andrew Tridgell
The Sydney Linux User Group (SLUG) meets the last Friday of
every month at UTS. This month Progsoc member Jamie Honan
and Andrew Tridgell (famous for Samba) will both be speaking.
Jamie will be talking about replacing keyboard with one of the
Amtel AVR chip range - which allows you to boot properly without
a keyboard.
Andrew will be talking about Samba 2.2.x and Samba 3.x and anything
else he feels like.
Entry is, of course, free with a nominal charge ($1) for tea
and coffee -- if available.
Talks kick off around 18:00 and are held in Building 1, Level 4,
Room 6 (near the entrance to the engineering block) on the 29th.
Post SLUG a large group of us normally head somewhere for dinner.
If you are coming along, and think you'll be at dinner please
email jdub+rsvp@nospam.slug.org.au with numbers.
