There's a problem with that, though. I can't get Optus cable in my 
apartment because they don't service the area, so I have to go with
poxy Telstra if I want broadband. If there was true competition, then
it would be a lot easier to switch between companies (such as with
mobiles) if you want to send a message.

The only way I can spend my money elsewhere is to run over a 56k modem
or go to the park.
