[ProgSoc] stupid win98 question

i've just inherited a laptop for work with win 98 installed. it's got a
lot of junk on it and i'd really like to do a reinstall with a linux
partition. i have the win98 media but i'd really prefer to use the serial
number which is associated with the current install of win98. where can i
find this serial number?
