I highly recommend 98lite Professional -- www.98lite.net .  I used it for
WinME and it actually works better than on Win98.  Very little dramas;  
Win9x the way it was meant to be.

The Pro edition fully rips out the IE web crap and solves a plethora of
soft bugs and security holes.  Not to mention speed.

Why multitask?  Yes, you only need to monotask.
