 Well, it's got that rinky-dink proprietary SUN-video
port on it .. looks like a DB25 but with three mini-
headphone plugs inside it? A wonderful standard :)

Woo! Just plug a serial cable into it, null-modem
into that, and then another PC into that .. and crank
up telix or whatever, and start chatting to it. From
memory you may need to simulate a Stop-A function -- what
the rest of the world calls a break signal. With telix
it's ctrl-end, I think. Most terminal emulators have
the function, albeit hidden. Anyway, you're looking for
the 'ok' prompt .. from where you can start booting floppies
 or CDROM's or whatever.

I downloaded the 3-CD set of Debian for Sparc the other
night (the joy of cable-internet). If you've got some
kind of networked access at home, you *could* get by
 without a CD set .. but it'd be patience-challenging.

Further, AFAIK Debian's got the better Sparc distro .. but
I haven't looked into this for ages.

 Jedd.

PS. Do not expect this machine to amaze you with its power.
