Optus@nospam.Home's 'unlimited' access wasn't

Optus@nospam.Home has agreed to stop advertising its broadband Internet service
as providing "unlimited" access to the Internet, following action by the
Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

ACCC chairman Professor Allen Fels yesterday said consumers had complained
that rather than offering the advertised unrestricted downloads, access
was being capped by an "acceptable usage policy" and Optus was using the
policy to cut off heavy users.
