[ProgSoc] SMB Mounting
Hi all...
Just a quick question. Can someone please explain how to mount an SMB
share to a RedHat 5.1 machine. It is needed rather urgently. Here are some
of the commands I have tried:
mount -t smbfs my_computer.my_domain.com:/my_share /mnt/mp
mount -t smbfs my_computer:/my_share /mnt/mp
etc, etc...
Do I need to make an entry in fstab? I am trying to avoid this because it
is only temporary.
Thanks in advance...
