[ProgSoc] samba and NT domains

I'm attempting to do something which I can't find any answers to in FAQ's
and suchlike, so I thought I'd ask here before I email the samba list.

I'm attempting to use NT domain authentication from a samba server, which
works just peachy for one domain at a time. The trouble is that when the
NT network went in, some admin (in their infinite wisdom) created a whole
swathe of domains.

This means that in order to have NT domain authentication, I need to get
the samba server to check more than one domain controller somehow. Does
anyone know how I might do this. I believe having the NT domain
controllers in trust relationships with each other might fix the problem,
but that would be nasty and I'd rather not do it.

And I know I could just use a password file but I don't want to have to
maintain _yet another_ list of passwords. Letting someone else maintain
password lists is just fine with me.
