Re: [ProgSoc] Director 6.5 question
Caz
my first piece of advice would be to forget you're a programmer (please do not take offence to that title :P)
and approach it from the viewpoint of a designer.
Director is made by designers for designers and not for programmers....thus it rarely makes sense to us
unfortunately i don't know how to do what you're asking, but if you describe it in a bit more detail i'll pass it on to a few friends of mine who are Director experts

Are there any Director experts out there?
I'm trying to implement a global variable to my movie which allows a user to
select certain
items and put it together on an image.. but if you go to another frame, and
then go back
to that other frame for it to remember what the user selected and display
that image.
Being new to Director, I have no idea how to do this... any help or RTFMs
would be
greatly appreciated as the Lingo books w/ the product SUCK.
thanks,
carolyn.
