Heaps of USB devices about... printers, scanners, Zip drives,
keyboards/mice etc.  And there are only going to be more.  However, USB is
slower than SCSI.  You should be waiting for the FireWire zip drives :-)

You'd be better off not using a USB HDD - IDE will be faster.
