[ProgSoc] Win95C (OSR 2.1)

I got this new 4GB hard disk on yum-cha special ... and bwheyy, I found a
copy of Win95 "C" on it ... to cut a long story short I have to upgrade a
400MB disk with Win95A, and it's come down to two options:

Can I install Win95C over the top of Win95A, ie, into the same directory?

Can I put a 4GB IDE disk into a 1996-vintage machine that only accepts up
to 2GB hard disks because of its old BIOS? (This is despite FAT32 support
from Win95B/C and Win98). I remember, oh 5 years ago, the last time this
happened when 512MB was the ceiling ... or am I thinking of 32MB ... or
maybe they both were? We needed DOS 4.x or 5.x to get above 32MB <g>

Anyway last time we hit the hard disk size limit, there was a BIOS program
thingy you could load first ... that's when Logical Block Addressing was
first used, right? I don't suppose you can patch LBA to go above 2GB now?
