any good finacial page on the web should give you all te public
details (try cnnfi for example, you can get to it through cnn.com).

ack, dont use the parallel version, get the internal ATAPI version,
sure it only uses mode 0 but thats all your going to get out of your
hardware anyway.

doof, the '--' is there because it is part of the RFC's (822 or 823 i
cant remember which one). iut has nothing to do with ascii and
everything to do with delimiting your signature or other automagically
generated text at the end of messages (this is why you see one above
the "you are subscribed to progsoc" message).

if you wish to ignore standards you start walking down the dark path.
