I just downloaded hyperterminal Private edition v3 - its a better version
of the hyperterminal that comes with win95 PLUS it supports TCP/IP
connections (not just dial-ins), so you can use Z-modem to transfer files
if you don't have access to ftp or can't be bothered starting ftp.
However, I haven't tried it yet, and HTPE v2 had some difficulties with
terminal settings (I couldn't run pine on it). Go to any shareware type
site (www.windows95.com for expamle) and look for terminal progs. There
are lots around.

Also, I understand that progsoc machines can't be telnet'ed to from the
world outside UTS unless prior arrangments have been made. You might have
made prior arragements, so this comment might be completely redundant.
